| Long Beach, Perhentian Kecil |
Kupiłyśmy bilety na autobusy jadące nocą i w czwartek wieczorem wyruszyłyśmy na dworzec autobusowy. Nasz autokar okazał się być bardzo wygodny, z podnóżkami i głęboko rozkładanymi fotelami, także mogłyśmy się w nim bez problemu przespać. O szóstej rano dotarłyśmy do Kuala Besut, skąd już o siódmej wypływała łódź do Perhentian Kecil, czyli małej wyspy Perhentian. Tam wysiadłyśmy na jednej z plaż (Long Beach), gdzie znajduje się wiele przystępnych cenowo hosteli. Jak sama nazwa wskazuje plaża ta jest dosyć długa. Do tego bardzo pięknie połozona, piaszczysta a woda krystalicznie czysta.

Na Long Beach spędziłyśmy większość czasu, po prostu wylegując się na plaży i pływając w morzu. Parę razy udałyśmy się też do Coral Bay, plaży położonej po drugiej stronie wyspy, która jednak mniej nam się podobała, ale tam można było za to podziwiać zachód słońca. W sobotę udałyśmy się też na wycieczkę gdzie nurkowałyśmy z rurką, czyli tylko lekko pod powierzchnią wody. Widziałyśmy piękną rafę koralową i niesamowite kolorowe ryby, niektóre we wszystkich kolorach tęczy, i we wszystkich rozmiarach od malutkich do dosyć dużych.

W niedzielę na wyspę dotarło też dwóch znajomych Sanny - Robert i Sebastian, którzy akurat podróżują po Malezji, także spędziłyśmy trochę czasu z nimi i Malezjanką - Fidą, którą oni poznali w czasie podróży.
Na Perhentian Kecil spędziłyśmy trzy noce, w poniedziałek po południu musiałyśmy już wracać, aby zdążyć na nocny autobus do Kajang. We wtorek zaraz po przyjeździe rozpakowałyśmy nasze rzeczy, wzięłyśmy prysznic i udałyśmy się do pracy. Przez to, że udało nam się trochę pospać w autobusie, jakoś przetrwałyśmy następny dzień.

We took two days off and went for a short vacation to the Perhentian islands. These are supposedly the most beautiful islands in Malaysia. They are situated on the northeast coast of the Malay peninsula. Since the monsoon season begins at the end of October/beginning of the November, and the islands are closed down till March, we decided that we should not wait and had to go there while we still had the chance.
We bought tickets for the night buses, and left for the bus station Thursday night . Our coach turned out to be very comfortable, with footrests and deep armchairs, so we could sleep there without any problems. At six in the morning, we reached Kuala Besut, from where we took a boat to Perhentian Kecil - that is the small Perhentian island. There, we got out onto Long Beach, where there are many affordable hostels. As the name suggests, this beach is quite long. It is also situated very beautifully, is sandy and the water is crystal clear.
We spent most of our time at Long Beach, just sunbathing and swimming in the sea. A few times we also went to Coral Bay, a beach located on the other side of the island, which, however, we liked less, though you could admire the sunset there. On Saturday, we went for a snorkelling trip. We saw beautiful coral reef and amazing colorful fish, some in all colors of the rainbow, and in all sizes from tiny to quite large.
On Sunday, two friends of Sannah's, Robert and Sebastian, arrived on the island. They happened to be travelling around Malaysia at the moment and decided spontanousely to meet us there, so we spent some time with them and one Malaysian girl - Fida, who they met during their bus ride.
After spending three nights on Perhentian Kecil, we had to go to catch the night bus back to Kajang on Monday afternoon. On Tuesday, after arriving, we unpacked our stuff, took a shower and went to work. Good that we could sleep a little during the bus ride.
